Embed Fusebox on WordPress

Using custom HTML and JavaScript code may require a premium or paid plan.

Please contact your website platform provider to confirm their JavaScript, iFrame, or HTML compatibility.

Embedding Fusebox on WordPress

Once you've set up your show using the Dashboard, you can embed a player on your WordPress site. The embedded players will use all the settings shown in your Dashboard. For more information on this, see Creating and customizing a player.

Exclusive to WordPress users, there are two (2) ways to add a Fusebox player to your website.

  • API Token + WordPress Plugin
  • Custom HTML Blocks

API Key Method (Archive Player + Single Track Player)

If you have not already downloaded and installed our WordPress Plugin, check out this article

*** The updated WordPress Plugin does not support WordPress Classic editor ***

When editing a Page or Post, click the  +Add Block button to open the WordPress Block Menu.

From the  WordPress Block Menu, scroll to find the desired player or search for "Fusebox".

If you have more than one show, be sure to select the correct show from the drop-down menu.

Finally, either Click the Arrows or type the episode number.

For the Archive Player, select one of the archive players you have preconfigured from the dropdown menu.

If you only have one archive player configured, it will automatically be selected for you.

Your Fusebox podcast player will now be there when you publish your changes.

To preview the look and placement of the player, click the  Preview button in the top-right corner.

Custom HTML Blocks (Archive Player + Single Track Player)

If you would like to use the embed codes directly, you can use this method instead.

Select the desired location where you would like the Fusebox player to be and click the +Add Block button to open the Block Menu.

In the Block Menu, either scroll to find or search for the Custom HTML block.

Paste in the Fusebox player embed code and click Update in the top-right corner to save these changes.

Your Fusebox podcast player will now be there when you publish your changes.

To preview the look and placement of the player, click the Preview button in the top-right corner.

Embedding the Sticky Player

If you haven't created a Sticky Player or need help, check out this article first, under step #3.

When you're ready to embed the players, there are two ways to add a Sticky Player to your website.

  • Sitewide
  • Single-page

Sitewide Sticky Player

From the WordPress Admin dashboard, hover over Appearance and click Customize.

Next, click Theme Settings followed by clicking Header/Footer Scripts.

Finally, paste in your embed code and click Publish.

Single-page Sticky Player

Search for  Custom HTML in the WordPress Block Menu.

Paste in the Sticky Player embed code and click Update in the top-right corner to save these changes.

Your Sticky Player will now display at the bottom of only this selected page.
